About the Webmaster:

The Children of God Ministries website is maintained by Dr. Nicie C. Murphy of Louisville, KY.  Nicie moved to Tennessee upon entering Tennessee State University in 1996.  She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from Tennessee State University (Go Big Blue!) in 2000 and her Ph.D in Organic Chemistry from the University of Tennessee (Go Vols!)  in 2005. She currently works as a Senior Development Chemist for Siemens Medical Solutions in Knoxville, TN.  Nicie and her husband, Dexter Murphy (COG's Minister of Music) joined COG in October 2006 after God placed in on Dexter's heart to attend the Pastor's Anniversary service that month.  Dexter has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music from the University of Tennessee and a Master of Arts Degree in Curriculum & Instruction with Licensure in Elementary Eduction from Lincoln Memorial University.  He is currently employed with the Knox County School System as a fifth grade teacher. 

In their spare time, Dexter and Nicie enjoy spending time with their daughter, Anaiah Murphy (2), and their son, Mathias (newborn). 

Dexter and Nicie look foward to serving God in whatever capacity he sees fit and utilizing their God-given talents to the utmost of their abilities.
